Caxton Theatre’s first production of 2026 is ‘Good Things’
A bittersweet comedy by Liz Lochhead
This funny, gentle comedy is set in a charity shop. Volunteer Susan a volunteer is facing the ‘Big 5-0’. She has to cope with a father entering his second childhood, an adolescent daughter and an ex who still has the power to wound.
‘Good Things’ is a perceptive and humorous look at people in middle age trying to find love for the first, second or third time around, whilst retaining their sanity and dignity. Great characters make this a superbly entertaining watch and take you on a journey that spans from 6 January, 14 February and Christmas Eve of the same year. See what happens when people eaves-drop on private conversations and jump to the entirely wrong conclusions!
Opens Saturday 24 January through to Saturday 31 January
Caxton Theatre, Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby
